(1) Occasional leave

Occasional leave or casual leave is usually given to C.L. Known as. The employee is entitled to 12 occasional leave during the year. This leave is not recorded in the employee’s service book. Unused leave is not credited at the end of the year.

(2) Required leave

The list of compulsory leave for each calendar year is published by the General Administration Department of the Government. The employee may enjoy any two of these holidays during the year. This leave is not recorded in the employee’s service book. Unused leave is not credited at the end of the year.



(2) Compensation leave

Compensation leave is given to an employee in return for work done on holidays. The employee is entitled to a day’s leave for as long as he stays during the holidays. This is the leave that the employee has to enjoy during that year. This leave is recorded in the employee’s service book. Unused leave is not credited at the end of the year.
